BT40 ANGEL HEAD 
Product Type: CNC Right Angle Milling Head (90° Angle Head)
Shank: BT40
Application: Used on CNC Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) to machine surfaces that cannot be reached with a standard vertical spindle without repositioning the workpiece.

1. BT40 Taper Shank
   • Fits directly into a BT40 CNC spindle.
   • Precision ground taper.
   • Balanced for high-speed machining.
2. Anti-Rotation Arm
   • The black arm on the right side.
   • Prevents the angle head body from rotating.
   • Normally fixed to the machine spindle stop block.
3. 90° Gearbox
   • Transfers spindle rotation by 90°.
   • Usually contains hardened spiral bevel gears.
   • High precision bearings inside.
4. Output Spindle
   • Located horizontally.
   • Holds ER collet chuck or milling cutter.
   • Precision runout typically:
     • ≤0.005 mm (good quality)
     • Premium models ≤0.003 mm
5. Indexing Ring
   • The black graduated ring.
   • Allows rotation of the head.
   • Usually adjustable every 1°.
   • Locked after positioning.
6. Body Housing
   • Aluminum alloy or hardened steel.
