SK40 Side lock is primarily used to hold cylindrical or straight-shank items, such as indexable cutters, baby chucks, and carbide drills, providing a straight shank for improved rigidity and strength. It ranges from 16 mm to 40 mm because the shank's minor diameter is compatible with a standard collet chuck.
Made from alloy steel hardened to 54 – 56rc
Balanced to G6.3 at 12,000 RPMs
Concentricity is less than .005 micron up to 100 Length and 0.012 up to 200 Length.
All critical tool holder surfaces are precision-ground
Gage length is 50MM,100MM,150MM
Rear thread for pull stud is M16 X 2.0
